I've asked a few questions for my sister, passing another one along.
Is there defined promotion criteria from LA to SA? Or does it depend on admin chain, org, and/or politics?
She is looking at LA positions now as a potential comeback kid, and while she was at BAH 10+ years ago, she's forgotten the details, though they'd likely be severely outdated even if she remembered.
TIA!
Taking the CISA next week any tips?

How much will be my in hand salary?
Main long term goal is financial freedom. Career goal is to be able to switch to a job I am truly passionate about once I’ve hit few financial goals. So basically a Fire goal lol.
I actually watched this Ted talk which is really interesting if anyone is curious. https://youtu.be/21j_OCNLuYg
Chief Product something or other with a portfolio of product platforms at my disposal + my own private wine label and tasting room.
I love product development and the freedom to provide technological solutions and I’m obsessed with good wine.
That sounds truly fun, when you can incorporate what you really like with business. I’m in the search right now for something I can really care but at the same time that can generate enough revenue. I’m stuck.

I'd like to accumulate large sums of cash with minimal effort. Personal and career goal. Came to this conclusion when I was 7 years old and hated school.
A great goal!

FIRE goal too. I’m just passionate about efficiency gains in both business and life. So supercharging business processes with automation as an independent consultant eventually and also run a career coaching business just because I did discover some interesting stuff along the way by being a personal development nutter. People keep talking AI and ML but we haven’t even gotten to jobs that can be automated with simple excel sheets. And then they end up beating themselves up for not working hard enough etc.
Also, Ascential 1. Did you start thinking about how much to charge for this process automatisation in the future? I'm thinking in the terms of charging based on time spent on it (some time to learn their process, some time to develope solution, some time to actually implement automatisation), but also based on how much time they will save by using this solution (so f.e. 1.5h pre automatisation vs 10min post), but I have problem in judging what time frame to take into account. The best imho would be to try to establish processes lifecycle based on interviewing the client and then in addition charge them 10-20% of what they would save in the long run, but this might be complicated, and met with the fear of high up front costs for them.
Never work in corporate America again once I feel I have enough money.

My career goal is to advance my position to an AD role. Personally, I have got to figure out how to manage my time more effectively. Working 14-16 hour days is becoming the norm. WLB is priority #1.
Financial freedom and health freedom to live a disease-free life.
