Hi fishes, in urgent need of your suggestions.
One of my friend is having offer from Oracle Pune for software developer role in Oracle store team. but he does not have clear idea of the role whether it will be operations, support or development work.
Does anyone know what kind of work is there in store team. Also, is it possible to change the project once we get inside?
Urgent suggestions required...
Thanks!

Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.

A couple ideas that have worked for me:
- Research similar events to see what’s trending and get ideas around naming conventions (XYZ-Fest, ABC-Con, etc).
- Look to the company/brand values or what they’re trying to achieve with the event, then break out the old thesaurus (i.e. a wellness event called “Thrive”).
- Incorporate aspects of the location (like SXSW) or duration (“pop-up”).
- See if you can incorporate a fun pop-culture nod relevant to your audience, even better if it feels like an inside joke.
- Check out how the company brands their other events or refers to audiences and work from there (e.g. Salesforce and their “trailblazers” shtick).
- Bonus: Stress test your names to see if they are an easy “get.” Will your target immediately know what the event is all about simply by hearing the name? (a pop-up wine shop called “The Rosé Garden.”)
Hope these ideas help get you started! Good luck! 🍀
Very nice.
That’s one way to do it. I like to make categories that hit specific product or emotional benefits. Include alliteration options, super off-the-wall ones, try evocative one-worded names. Edit yourself but don’t overdo it. Make it a mixed bag. Your boss will appreciate it.

At our agency, the best ‘brand name + emotion’ word mashup reigns supreme. FML.
I have to name an event and it’s a bit different than naming a concept or script. Was gonna start by just pulling a bunch of words and mixing and matching but curious if anyone has tips
