KPMG I cleared all the rounds of my interview with KPMG and was asked to provide necessary documents and fill a CAF form a week back and had a HR discussion too. I have requested for about 3Lakhs additional fixed pay since my current CTC has increased and HR said she will get back on this. It's been a week and haven't heard back on the offer letter. How long do you think I should wait. Please wait.

Depends what your current job title is and how much experience you have. 10% of what?
When I jumped ship at a junior profile, I did get a 10-15% lift, and got stocks too. But mostly it was the role that attracted me and although I may not have given a lot of credit to that back then when I switched I would definitely recommend you pay most attention to that. Plan out your next 5-10 years and ask yourself how will you get there through consulting vs. Industry. What are you trying to learn? Consulting will give you breadth and industry will give you depth. There was a time my consulting friends were making more on the base salary since raises aren't great, but now with some promotions I'm back up (it's not a race!). Just sharing my perspective! Sorry for the long post 😆
I got 60% on base. Variable comp is whole other scenario
Jumped and asked and received 45% increase which is rare.
Recommend that 25-30%
Depends on where you are right now. For reference my personal data point is 20% on base salary going to a manager level role in industry
