Hi all. I’m a lawyer in a metro city in the mountain west region. I’m in the process of getting admitted to practice in the DMV metro area. I’m currently a senior associate at a boutique firm where I practice family law, criminal defense, breach of contract, and real estate litigation (not transactional). No big law experience or interest. I’m interested in small/boutique firms or government work. Can anyone recommend a good (trustworthy) recruiter/headhunter? TIA.

Current analyst (1.5 YOE) here with a strong interest in DevOps and Project Management. I feel like I am slowly but surely getting pigeon-holed in L&D work. I don’t like it, but my leaders continue to tell me that all experience is good experience. Should I try to breakout and find a variety of experience this early in my career or should I try to make it to 3 years and re-evaluate then? Have you had a similar experience? What have you done?

Who is currently hiring entry-level OCM consultants? My close friend studied communications and organizational change, but found their way into logistics. They are looking for opportunities and I think they would be a much better fit as a consultant. My company’s hiring cycle ended so I’m seeing if I can help point them in the right direction before next year. Appreciate any pointers on certs that might help too! (I’m in analytics and not as familiar) Thanks!!
