I just got a job with Delta airlines and I had an accomodation request to work remotely as I am Immunocompromised. I provided all the neccesary documents to back up my request and letters and documents from my Dr. aswell. My request was denied because the team said they wanted me to have face time and one on one interactions with people from other team (which defeats the purpose of my request) because I have to limit those interactions to reduce the risk of infection. I’ve prepared at least 50 retrospective star stories but without fail, the interviewer always throws a curve ball. As an introvert, I am introspective in my problem solving and struggle to quickly adapt my prepared stories when the interviewer is being intentionally ambiguous.
