My current CTC is very low with respect to my YOE. CTC : 5.2 lpa
YoE : 4
Tech stack : Python , MLops
But now my manager has initiated H1B visa for me and the visa process is in progress.
Is it worth to wait till the H1B process completes to work in U.S (74k package) (or) should i make a switch immediately. ?

I am currently on notice period and my LWD is Sep 2, 2022. Today, I got an offer from state street mentioning my joining date as Sep 12, 2022 even though I already told HR that I would like to join from Sep 5 itself. How can I convince HR to prepone my joining date to Sep 5, 2022. I don't want to lose my one week salary guys. Pls suggest. State Street

I give a very vague response to the recruiter like “I’m looking for something in the mid-to-upper 100’s but have some flexibility depending on how the total comp package is structured.” Then ask the recruiter if your expectations align with their budgeted salary range. Sometimes the recruiter will just tell you the budgeted range if you ask.
