To give the junior the credit for the work, have the junior send directly to the partner indicating the midlevel reviewed, with the midlevel copied.

Agree with A1. I try to let juniors send the final work product to the partner. If I can’t do that (usually due to timing), I send it on to the partner and indicate that the junior took the laboring oar or complimenting their work.

Agree with A1, one caveat would be if the group is structured so that partner is expecting midlevel to be sole point of contact, in which case, it’s fine for midlevel to send but credit should be given (“Hi P - here’s the draft motion. Junior did a great job putting this together and has already incorporated my edits.”).
Not sure why the midlevel wouldn’t give credit. If the draft sucks it gives them an out, and if the draft is good, they still look good by association and appear to manage/review well.

I usually have the junior send including a note that they incorporated my comments already.
You should definitely review everything and provide feedback to the junior as well, make sure to give credit using one of the already suggested alternatives, that's how you earn your juniors respect & trust

I usually let associates send things out with me copied. Part of it is me not being able to stand those who just take others work and send it out without the associate getting any recognition.
