When are you overstepping in a work environment and when are you not? What about micromanaging? How do you tell the difference?

For example, a calendar invite was created by a Product Owner but I saw that one of our designers that should be included is missing from the invite, so I tagged her on slack to see if she needs the invite forwarded or not and wanted to make sure she's included.

We're both Design Leads, no reports. I just joined 2mths ago.

Did I micromanage? Or overstep?

I got a bad observation. He said one of my students were not awake and lively on Zoom. Ugh. What? I see teachers that take 30-50 days off some working 2 days a week days. They get perfect marks. I can't even look my principal in the face now.

You know what Teams gets right that Webex doesn't, the end meeting button. Webex asks you like 2 more times if you want to end the meeting while Teams is like "Bye, Felicia"

NYC fish: I’m almost 25 and done with the excessive party scene but do enjoy a few drinks and being out late on the weekends. As a Hindi speaker from Hindi heartland in India, I have taken my language for granted and don’t have the same attachment to it as I have seen others in this bowl do.
