Just recieved a offer from Western Alliance Bank for a Senior Business Analyst role. Comp 100k but the role would be in office. I currently work remote, have unlimited PTO,and a really healthy work life balance but am being underpaid tremendously. The new role seems like it does not have healthy work life balance and many red flags have already come up. I want to grow my skills and wouldn't mind being in office as I do miss being around people. How do I vet the role before accepting?

I personally wouldn’t inform them till I’ve completed day 1 at new firm… make sure your offer doesn’t get pulled. In this economy I’m seeing offers get pulled in tech. Wouldn’t be surprised if that starts happening in law
Don't inform them until you've cleared conflicts and have a start date. I suppose one could time their start date in connection with their cut off date if they really wanted to milk their prior firm. But probably would burn a couple of bridges if you went out of your way to bilk anything more than a single pay cycle.
Being employed by two firms at once would be a conflicts issue.

Great point AA1.
A2, what you failed to consider is that while this would represent a conflicts issue, it would also, simultaneously, be awesome.
