Ask for high
What can you lose and RN is desperately needed in HH in IL right now. If they want you they will give you their best and final.
I also want to enjoy my days off in peace. I feel like I didn’t get to do that when I worked in hospice 3 12s. But with HH idk if it’ll be different? And I’m seeing most are 5 days a week
Depending on your YOE, it wouldn't hurt to ask for 90k to start, or even the $95K and let them talk you down.
It depends on your experience, education, and the specifics of the position. I would suggest researching the job market in Illinois to get an idea of the average salary for a similar role and make sure to be prepared to explain why you believe you should be compensated at the higher end of the range. Personally, I always aim for the highest range if I feel I am qualified and can prove it during the interview. Good luck!
A salary range listed on a job posting indicates the position's level of responsibility. If work-life balance is important to you, don't ask for the high end of the range.
This is very true, but it is also true that they like to have people do work that they are not being paid adequately to do. If you are going to be given that work, you could at least be getting paid for it.
Always shoot for the highest salary in the range because they will try to negotiate you down
