Leave the consulting company or leave the client company/project? I think if clashes with managers are brought up in exit interviews that might make the manager look bad. If a lot of people are just trying to roll off the same project/manager/company it could be a lot different things (manager, project burnout, clashes with other teammates, etc), but I think it would only be investigated if there was some kind of escalation?

Both. I was just curious because I’ve been on 1 or 2 projects with high turnover from leaving the project or firm and I wasn’t sure if it reflects poorly on the manager. Not necessarily to HR. but to the managers leadership.
Sometimes but more often not. Some managers just assume any consultant is replaceable regardless if they are in the wrong. I had a gig where I pushed against the CIO often because of unrealistic expectations or assumptions which I always had the data needed to back me up. They ended up going through 4 consultants after me and ended up putting the project on hold. Depending on the project and visibility it’s a yes and no answer.
Yes. We had a terrible manager with multiple roll offs last year. He left. It became clear he was the problem.
One person resigned. Two women were rolled off; one of these women complained about him and made a fuss.

It just might be that time of the year right now?
