Accenture folks in Europe: what is a realistic bonus % that consultants and managers typically achieve in Strategy?
Heard that despite a max threshold of 20% most people achieve something like 5%-10%; is that true?
What does it take to achieve the max %?
Thanks in advance!

To all those who always feel like they have to be physically active - how do you deal with having an office job? Does working out really satisfy this need or do you really feel like you would be happier working a blue-collar job?

Married fish… We both use our at home office frequently and desperately need a new chair…Sometimes my husband will say we spent too much money but then when we desperately need another office chair and I text him a cheap one he says well maybe we should get a nicer one since that we can keep for a couple years and that we actually like. See my confusion here? Does anyone else’s spouse do this?

Quarantine may result in me losing my job, but not for the same reasons as many other associates. Moved across the country and started a new job the day after stay-at-home orders hit. Most people were already out of town and low on communication. I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing, how to do my work, etc. I talk on the phone a lot with coworkers, but feel paralyzed with the actual work. Any suggestions?

I have to work 6pm-6am shifts 4 days straight each week for the next 45 days to save small businesses. God Bless Capitalism!
I’m finding that a weird side effect of losing my job in this climate is ad agencies taking advantage of my weakened position. They get in touch, proactively or in response to my reaching out, and they want to hire me as they are in good shape. When I reveal I was laid off, the offer changes to freelance or maybe nothing. My work, awards, the fact that they know me and approached me in the first place should be enough. I don’t want to lie about my situation. Any ideas how to avoid this?
Can anyone provide a good office chair recommendation? Looking to spend somewhere between $200-$300, but willing to look into pricier options if it is really worth it!
Has anyone experience swollen lymph nodes after getting the vaccine/booster? I got my booster shot right before thanksgiving and am still having some lymph node swelling in that armpit even though it’s been about two months. If so when did you see the swelling finally go down?
Some people seem to think that folks will never be comfortable in an office setting again, which if true, means the same people will never be comfortable at a sporting event, museum, concert, etc. I understand that concern at the moment. But, if a vaccine becomes available, how many of you here will be comfortable with a return to “normal” life? Life eventually went back to normal after the Spanish Flu pandemic. Is it foolish to assume that will be the case here?
I’m looking for an ergonomic desk chair for $500ish or less. Currently looking at Steelcase Series 1. Anyone have any thoughts?
Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

In reality have no clue, but my $0.02 is that people use it interchangeably.
However, it could be a result of people moving around more, hence “based out of”. E.g., remote work and people working all over the place now.
“Based in” would probably suggest they are committed to their location at least in the near term.
