When did the B4 get rid of OT? Talked with an MD of Tax at a client and he talked about how at Arther Andersen they were paid OT. My mom worked PA back then too and was paid OT.

PW was the first to do so back in 1987. It cause a lot of disruption because they raised base salaries and things were less comparable to the remaining 7 firm. The other firms followed suit at various times in the 90s.

like

C&L paid OT and PW did not. So combined they stoped in 1998.

like

They adjusted pay up for CL when OT was taken away. There is an expected amount of OT built into your salary so at the end of the Fay unless you have insanely high OT it would not make a difference. If they had to pay OT now the hourly rate would not be simply as taking salary divided by 2080.

Arthur Andersen got rid of OT around 1996/97.

Hello Everyone,

I am in search of a Project Manager role. I have about 4 + years experience managing projects and in consulting.

I am about concluding the google certificate in project management, and one unique think I bring into any team is my strategic thinking and ability to solve problems in record time.

Hey fishes,
My company has made us sign an employment bond for 3 years and exit penalty is 4.5 lakhs. I have completed 2.3 years but I don’t want to continue working in this company anymore. Also I don’t have 4.5 lakhs to pay. So what should I do in this case? If I leave without paying then I won’t get my experience letter.

MC Manager who mostly works on strategy projects now, l2 going on l3, nyc area. Make $165k base which seems generally market competitive if not market leading from my current interviewing…is that right? I also have a lot of hot tech skills that are high in market demand.

I’m targeting $200k base - is that reasonable? I’m not sure what my raise will be this year (if anything) but we’re not known for great raises especially in non promotion years, so I’d expect to be making maybe $170k-ish soon

Hi everyone

I'm in a business development role based in Asia. May I get your thoughts/pointers on the CAIA?

I'm aware that the CAIA is not as popular in Asia compared to the CFA. From my knowledge, there are no CAIA holders in my current firm within the Asian region, despite dealing with alternative investments.

Would be happy to hear your thoughts regarding the CAIA, and study tips if you have any!

Hello, fellow newbie here 😀
Was wondering if yall know of any remote sales jobs with a good starting base salary? I'm doing great at my current role selling senior health insurance (76k give or take a year) but I know I'm capable of selling at a higher commission range. My calls at my last company were all cold (around 100 a day). I got job offers as a recruiter and also a few SDR offers but both fields the base is under 45k. I have a four year degree and one year of sales experience. Thank you

I’m hiring for an entry level position. After HR performs a phone screen, I’m the first interview as the hiring manager. The second interview is the CFO. The third interview is with the chairman of the audit committee. I understand that this could potentially come off as intimidating for an entry level role. What are your thoughts? Is this too much? My thought is that even though the role is entry level, they should still feel comfortable communicating with senior management.
