Got a huge bump a year later and now I'm at 115 on the verge of ACD Still at the same agency

First two promotions when I was starting out: Account Coordinator to Jr AE, took a year, $30k to $38k Jr AE to AE > 1 year, 38k>45k

In agency world, went from freelance PM at 63k to FTE PM at a different agency, 90k, 6mos from one to the other. Now going from PM to Sr. PM, new agency, 90k to 120k. 2.5 years from one to the other.

Junior planner to associate planner, took about 2 yrs. $38k to $47k NYC. Supervisor at 3 yrs, jumped to another company $75k

Jr Strat to Strat, they actually didn’t discuss any raise outside of the $1.5k COL raise I got anyway. But I was able to use it to get a strategist role at a different agency immediately after that did up me to $75k (from $60k).

Analyst to supervisor 15k

Junior: $47k Junior: (new agency) $60k Mid-Level: $70k

Junior copywriter: $33k (2 years) Moved agencies, copywriter: $60k (2 years) Moved agencies, copywriter: $87k (just over 2 years) Promoted to senior copywriter: $100k

Jr designer: $48k (1 year) Designer, new agency: $60k (2.5 years) AD: $70k (5 months) AD, new agency: $90k However, the agency paying me 90 is in a different state with a much lower cost of living. Something to keep in mind when applying for remote positions.

Intern: $28K AAE: $42K AE: $55k SAE: $65K AM: $90K (I leveraged an external offer) All of this is over 4 years.

Hi all. If you have ever encountered passive aggressive teammates, did you raise this situation to your direct report? If so, what was your approach and how did you deliver the feedback? Because of my hire date last year I wasn’t reviewed in last summer’s annual review cycle. My firm cut everyone’s salary by 25% in March and made major layoffs and more are coming. The firm made it clear that during this summer’s review they will not discuss salary. Any advice for how to have the conversation in the near future about a raise? I work exclusively with nonprofits and my current salary is not sustainable. Are consulting firms that deal with for profits also suffering like this?

Deloitte federal analyst just promoted to consultant. I make $70k now—what should I expect to make when the promotion takes effect?

I feel like the Senior manager has to redo all (or a lot) of my work. I’ll suggest something, they’ll modify or reject it and then make a decision. Then I’ll execute on that decision and I didn’t have the best idea and it’ll be tweaked again or something comes up and the approach didn’t actually work based on th support. I’m an A2 up for promotion so I should be performing like a new senior, but I feel like it’s clear that I’m not close. For more context, it’s a first year audit so maybe that...

Who here has experience using an outside offer to negotiate your pay at Deloitte? I know I’m valued (off cycle raise/retention bonus in addition to market adjustment coming)… but still 30 - 40k underpaid compared to what I’m seeing in the market. I like Deloitte and the work I do so I’d like to try and make it work, but know I need to play hard ball to see action. Would really appreciate advice and or tips for this process!

Hi everyone, I Received a first offer from Deloitte 2 weeks ago that I countered and they accepted to raise it. The recruiter in charge of my case was on holidays and he came back to work last week. Sent him two emails asking when I should expect the new set of documents, but no reply until today. Is this normal? Does a new offer necessarily have to go through the same steps as the first one ? Because I waited 10 days between the verbal offer and the written one for the first time. Thanks!

I countered with a recruiter and they responded to my concerns and questions with “don’t worry about PTO days, I don’t even take them”, “you’re focused on the wrong things” (when speaking about health insurance costs), “I can’t see them going for that (my counter), let me see your experience again, 10 years hm”, “it’s really not an apples to apples comparison, this is a really good offer, don’t focus on that other stuff”. Don’t do this! I was leaning towards taking the job and now I may pass.
