When did you moms introduce peanuts to your babies? Baby is 6 months and so far so good with solid food but scared to introduce a bit of peanut powder in his purées!

We mixed some in oatmeal at first around 6 months, Bambas if your baby is doing puffs - like all allergens, beginning of the day/start of a longer wake cycle so you can watch for what ifs!

You could also put a bit of peanut butter on his high chair tray. He can play a bit with his hands first, and then eventually get some in his mouth. I liked that approach with all possible allergens since my son touched with his hands first. My (possibly crazy) reasoning was if he’s severely allergic to something, better to react to a bit on his hands first than to actually swallowing some.

We started at 6mo by smearing some on his back first to make sure he didn’t have a reaction before giving it to him orally mixed in oatmeal

I think I’m going to try that ready set grow thing where they send the powders to mix in and slowly introduce allergens

Peanut butter toast around month 7. One of LO’s favorite breakfast foods

Just let them lick a little off your finger, did it at 6 months based on recommendations from ped/allergist that it's shown to mitigate allergies

Yep this! Apparently the longer it’s withheld the more likely an allergy can develop? Did eggs, dairy, PB all at 6-8 months to see if any issues were to be worried about

Mixed a little natural peanut butter into baby cereal Eggs I just scrambled straight up and mashed with a bit of expressed breastmilk

6 months...but only when the pharmacy was open if I needed to go there in case of allergic reaction

Little bit on toast literally right before his 6 month check up

Hello Childfree Friends! Question (slightly grim but I intend for it to be lighthearted)— what do people without kids plan on doing with their estate/ wealth once you’re sniffing the daisies? People always talk about how they’re “working to leave something for the kids” and unfortunately I don’t think my fur baby legally counts. It’s been something on my mind lately & I’d love to hear what others who are child-free are planning. There’s obviously spouse, parents, siblings, but what else?

If every study shows bad management slows productivity and cost companies good employees, why are all these a**hole clients and the MDs who turn a blind eye protected? My client's awful attitude creates an extremely unproductive environment. We spend more time protecting his ego or getting irrationally screamed at, than we do doing our jobs. I thought our MD might step in, but he just completely downplayed it and even blamed us. Why isn't there more attention on changing this outdated ideology?

I’m thankfully hitting my hours, but my firm keeps passing non-billable work my way.
