I’ve been interviewing for an Interaction Designer role at Google. I’m at the design exercise stage, but still haven’t submitted it for weeks. Recruiter told me a month ago there was a finalist they might be able to close soon & they would update me if it's finalized. Since I haven’t gotten any messages or rejection emails since then, am I still in the running? Does Google auto reject candidates if they spend too much time on the exercise?

Hi All, need suggestion in choosing new opportunity & role. Currently working as AWS Engineer with 6.5 YOE. Having opportunities: 1. AWS Developer -Deloitte USI - 15fixed + 0-10% Variable + 4LJB (retention bonus) 2. Sr security Analyst - AWS IAM - Sony India software centre - 17.5fixed + 3L Variable. Im very much interested in AWS Developer role but scared of WLB at Deloitte. Sony have a very good reviews and pay also better only concern here it is cloud security and limited to only AWS IAM.

For FINRA it's your start date. HR has to submit your U4 and then registration will submit the application
Yeah no FINRA background checks until you are actually an employee of the firm you're starting at. Your registration dept can't process the info until you show up in the internal system and that doesn't happen unless you're an employee
Thanks. So no need to worry about firm 2 doing a background check until I start at firm 1?
