Most obvious answer: Something like September in full force. Wouldn’t be surprised if offices are open but fully optional this summer.
All vaccine-dependent, though. And it could be fleeting if we look at case counts too closely. I fully expect a fall / winter wave caused by unvaccinated adults, children, and to some extent antigenic drift driving up cases in vaccinated adults. Cases should be nearly universally mild in vaccinated adults (T cells!), but we have to stop the general freakout that comes from being infected by SARS-CoV-2.
We also haven’t had the conversation yet about sending droves of unvaccinated children back to school yet in the fall, which will impact the ability to get everyone into the office. I support it, but I’m sure many of my colleagues won’t like that, and that will impact their desire to not WFH.
We’ve been back in office with flex WFH and WFC as needed since September.
Bain is definitely wfh in NA. I’ve been hearing that we’ll probably go back around September.
