When do people think it’s the time to get out of PA FDD?

I’m in a weird situation where I don’t hate my job because I love the work/life balance but the jobs I’m doing aren’t really portfolio worthy. I’m at war with myself where I want to do great work/continue upward career wise but don’t want to sacrifice the work/life balance. I just hit a year — should I start looking now or wait it out?

I would do anything for money right now, just to keep my apartment. Goodbye career

Partner I work for I think is attracted to me. I’ve always maybe sensed it but then last week we were at a training and he would always look towards me and smile and they’d be long held smiles, and then would always try and sit next to me or across from me. And then when he didn’t he’d move his chair out a little so he could look at me. Then when he was leaving he came up behind and touched (not just tap) my shoulder to say good by.

Maybe it’s all in my head, but if not, what should I do?

Audit Senior, 3 YOE. I want to do FDD full time, just completed a rotation in FDD at EY. Expressed interest immediately that I want to join FDD. EY will give full time offers in January but not guaranteed. Have an offer for a small, boutique FDD firm that is very generous. Don’t want to make wrong career decision. Do I take the boutique firm offer now, hang around at EY to see if I get it, or be patient and keep applying elsewhere (other big 4 or middle market)? Want to avoid another bzy season

What's the process for leaving the firm? Is there a formal process that I have to go through or do I just tell my PML that I took another opportunity and I'm out in 2 weeks?
