Hi,
My wife got an offer from PS for Graphic Designing job.
Designation - Senior Associate Process Solution Level 1
But there is a clause of end date and I am afraid that once this period is over they will fire her.
Is this a standard practice in PS?
HR and Director have assured her that this is a practice in PS and she will be converted into Full Time Employee after this period.

I always mentioned it during the initial interview with a recruiter. Obviously, this depends on the market and the level at which you’re interviewing, but I found that being without a job sped up the hiring process both times I was laid off. The first time, I had an offer within two weeks (took it, because I couldn’t afford to be without work). The second time, I had five offers within four weeks. I have no doubt that all of those offers were made because the agencies knew I could start soon after accepting, as opposed to someone who’s have to give notice, want some buffer time between gigs, etc.
My advice is to be as nonchalant about it as possible. Let the recruiter know upfront that it happened, but don’t give them any reason to feel like you’re desperate, or they’ll use that as license to gut you when it comes time for negotiations.
This is so helpful thank you!
