after three weeks is reasonable... dragging too long may not be helpful as you grow your network in the new firm
I've updated it always the day I start my new job
6 months, some wait till the probation period at the new job is complete..some on the start date of a new job,diff people different mindset
I like to keep it current. If clients want to spy on my background I want to make sure the content is somewhat current.

I usually update week one but if things are uncertain or shaky I might wait a bit, or if you are concerned about non-compete then I would also wait (and do not broadcast the update when you add the new role - there is an option to share/not share updates).
