My last formal interview was on a Thursdsy and I got the call from the recruiter on Tuesday the following week about being a finalist. From what I have seen/heard it is based on a lot of variables (interviewer availability for feedback/HC decision/comp approvals/etc.) So if its just been a week I wouldn't worry too much. If the recruiter said they get back to you in a week, no harm in sending a polite follow up on next steps and if there is any other info you could provide.
The recruiter basically said that as a finalist my interviewers are recommending me to get the offer and then the next day she called me and said the HC have approved my offer and we officially would like to extend an offer to you.

Jeez how do they have the stamina to interview so many people for one role...
What often happens is that someone doesn't enter their feedback right away and it becomes a holding pattern. Sometimes it takes two weeks or more to get all the feedback in and then the recruiter has to compile your packet to send to hiring committee for review if the feedback was high enough. There are set dates for that and if late or they run out of time, then that can be a delay as well.
They will let you know.
Also @OP, based on what I’ve been told/read from Googlers, recruiter also take the time to make sure that they are building the best case possible for you as they serve as each candidate’s advocate. So if there’s one negative feedback in the mix, they’re likely trying to track down other feedback that could help you out.
It’s been two weeks for me, still haven’t heard back. I was also thinking that if it’s a no they would’ve told me already but mostly wishful thinking lol
She did email me but it was essentially “update: no update yet” lol
2-3 weeks is pretty typical, rejection or not

Lol what are they doing during that time!?
Gathering feedback and interviewing other people. The managers interviewing you have jobs too
Same here! Been a bit over a week since my final round and followed up this week as a gentle nudge to check in since they did tell me they’d keep me posted on any delays, and it’s been several days since they said they’d let me know. Good to know I’m not alone 🙂
It’s been a month since my interview and I haven’t heard any concrete feedback yet. When I follow up with my recruiter she just keeps saying “next week”
Had my interviews a week ago and no answer yet. However in the message setting up the interviews it was clearly noted that it takes 5-10 business days to hear back. It was unclear if they would get back before HC.
I’m hoping I get presented at least to HC, the rest is in God’s hands.
