Is there concept of bench in product companies
December layoffs anywhere?
Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

I had an interview with @cognizant all rounds done with HR AND Salary negotiation, after that I sent an email to them related to my offer status. However, they replied me as, we have kept you on hold etc.
And now @cognizant hr called me 3 times for job opening, and I have told them my offer is on hold. Now, they have scheduled interview. Is it for same or new. It's really confusing for me.
If they release old offer what we have discussed or they will interview me again

EY, I got my Roth IRA contributions set to max (30%). Does Fidelity automatically lower the % and stop contributions afterwards once I reach my 2022 limit?
Also at Deloitte, I had a couple thousand contributed in the beginning of the year. Does EY's 401k keep track of that as well towards the limit?

No hard and fast rule at Accenture. You should get a decent grace period esp as a new hire.
All depends on the economy and the likelihood you will get staffed in the near future. More than a couple of weeks though for sure.
Factors include bench depth and project availability. Right now, we have a super heavy bench and not a lot of projects, so you should be fine for a while. Knew a guy that rode the bench for 5 months without consequence because the bench was as thicc as Kim K's fake booty
Oh to be young, naive and to still care 🤭 you’ll be fine in your 1st year.
At Accenture
Definitely more than a month
Actually know a guy at Accenture who plans his holidays so that he’ll max his time on the bench and he has never worried a split second about being let go
At a boutique fo sure!
Agree with A3. Also, 2 coworkers of mine knew the exact date they had to get staffed by so sounds like you'll know ahead of time
