This question is asked almost every day - just do a quick search and you’ll find a ton of threads. You’re a consultant who googles answers all day, you’ll figure it out
I’ve already started attending client site meetings again. Lots of precaution but Australia is doing fine now
My guess is early 2021 and yes, it will change forever. Hard to see weekly travel coming back anytime in the next few years. I’d imagine once a month travel or only for critical meetings

I mean is really any meeting necessary to be face to face with technology these days? What can you say in person that you can’t via a video conference meeting?....granted getting sufficient software for a videoconference seems to be an additional hardship for whatever reason lol

It’s sometimes it’s easier to just stop by someone’s desk to ask a quick question than let’s say make a call and schedule a video conference, which I usually feel it’s a pretty big deal. But I guess now that with messengers, those can be done fairly quick too.
Agree with D1. Except I think it will be summer 2021 when there is really any substantial travel in general for work, including for consulting. But with so many companies having figured out how to conduct business without travel, the landscape will change. Most of the reasons that we had to go on-site will no longer be reasons to travel.
