Does anyone stress about student loans? I have $176k in loans and as January gets closer, the panic attacks have gotten worser. I just bought a house with a baby due in 5 weeks. As a result, I racked up about 12k in CC debt (moving expenses, fees associated with inspection, some quick home upgrades, i.e., changing locks and paint, and baby furniture. For reference, I also changed jobs. Have 15k sign-on bonus and PTO payout coming about 10K. Salary went from 131 to 155k. Usually, pay off CC in full each month. What's the most efficient way to pay off yhe CC?

Thought my employer would cut my 401k contribution to exactly meet the $19.5k limit, but looking at my paycheck now, and the portion over $19.5K went to ‘after tax 401k’. Is contributing after tax to the 401k a good idea in general? We already max out two 401ks, two back door roths, an HSA, and contribute to after tax brokerage. TIA!
