My designation is Technical Expert and I work on Industrial IoT and Cloud Projects and building Data Platforms.

I get paid 30LPA.
There are additional benefits, like 54 annual leaves, annual stock options where company matches your contribution, car lease policy, international travels, Masters Education Assistance program where company pays 80% of the fees.

Should I target higher LPA

when people talk about maxing our their 401k on here - is it the $19.5k contribution, or are y’all reaching the $56k yearly limit? i’m maxing out at $19.5k contribution, but only get a 3% employer match and feel so behind... don’t quite understand how some folks get to that $56k/year number

I just got a large raise and my wife began working full time, so we are now firmly in the 22% bracket this year and likely 24% bracket next year (~$210k HHI).

Question: Aside from maxing out my 401k, my wife’s 401k, both maxing out Trad IRAs, and maxing out HSA, are there any additional avenues to reduce taxable income?

Follow up: We have been all Roth given single income RIGHT under 12% bracket after standard deduction. Is going all Trad moving forward the best mode of action?

More of a benefits negotiation -How do I request for a company vehicle? I drive around 450 miles on a weekly basis for work site and my employer covers all vehicle expenses (gas, insurance, maintenance) but I drive personal car while my other PM colleagues have company vehicles.

I recently got hike in my current organisation from 5 to 7.5 lpa ctc and in that month itself deloitte is offering me 10.5 fixed 1.5-2 lacs variable on my new ctc. Which is 40 % hike.

I grew up with untreated major depression and ADHD. My parents "didn't believe" in mental illness.
