One other thing to keep in mind is that they typically run an Amex deal in feb-March where they give you $100 back if you spend $350.

If you play it right, you can buy a $350 gift card, and then spend that when they run their April anniversary sale. I did that two years ago and landed two pair of shoes for like $200/pair.

This is smart! Ty for sharing

Normally around June / July during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale. Shoes go for about $250.

They also do 40% off for their Anniversary sale in April.

Also, check shoe bank regularly if you don’t mind seconds (call the store and ask them to check for defects). Usually a decent chunk off firsts, and they run sales once in a while on them too.

I graduated with a master's degree in Dec 2021 and have been searching for jobs since then. I got a referral at PwC recently for a graduate consulting and advisory role but at the time I wasn't aware of using more keywords to get past the ATS and I believe my resume was basic.
Curious to know how effective referrals at PwC are and how exactly they work

Is this reasonable or am I missing something?

I started maxing my 401k from year 1 and I hope to have $5 million or more by the time I retire around 60. Wouldn’t it make sense to put all of my yearly $19,500 401k contribution to ROTH 401k instead of traditional 401k?

My reasoning is that I would pay 35% tax now and my remaining 65% would grow tax-free in ROTH 401k…. versus traditional 401k where I deposit 100% but every distribution will be taxed 35% assuming I make a lot in retirement.

Hello Autodeskers,
I wanted to understand how RSUs work in your favour? I mean if I am getting rsus amounting to 40% of my package, and another company is matching the package with all fixed, should I still choose Autodesk package? How about selling them and taxation? Is it really beneficial or risky?
