When everyone is getting more than they’re full of Zoom meetings, what are some other ways to keep employees engaged, connected, and feeling like they’re part of something important?

Erm ... that should’ve said “more than their fair share of Zoom meetings”.

I think sharing what things will be different and better when looking past the crisis is a great way to help give employees purpose. What are the new ways to help people and institutions?
Wha things will get unstuck - in a good way - because of this major disruption, this point of inflection? While not being unrealistic about today and hardships over the next number of months, it's key to give the employees a message of hope, purpose, and inspiration, rooted in a better future that could and should be. They will be the best way in my view to help them feel they are part of something important. I also thing the Zoom "happy hour" we have each week is very helpful :)

Is anybody up for a more focused whatsapp group and a weekly 15 minute catchup on zoom on the weekends?

The purpose for this will be that it'll get us to open our laptops and hopefully sit and study later. Also, it might be good to know what others are working on, give progress updates, and solve and discuss problems together.

This might also keep us motivated and incentivise us to keep working hard!

McKinsey & Company Will McKinsey & Company have a case interview portion during the recruiter screening for an Associate-level opening. This is my first interview with them.
The recruiter mentioned that it will only be an audio (Zoom) call, not a video interview. I sort of assumed that there won't be a case interview portion because it is an audio interview with the recruiter. Is my assumption true? I don't want to ask the recruiter with the interview coming up in the next 2-3 days, as it might set a bad opinion.

I’ve been at my job for 45 days. I had my 30 day review and my supervisor told me she didn’t have any complaints. She wanted me to speak more on Zoom and Slack. That’s it.

2weeks later
The CEO caught an attitude w/ me bc I didn’t know the answer to his question. He removed me from a public Slack channel. That Friday, my supervisor schedules a meeting and presents a two page performance review. I received mostly 2’s on a scale of 5. I have 2 WEEKS to change it.
