When going to an interview for a sales job, do you still wear a suit or is it now acceptable to dress business professional without a suit jacket? I've been told several times in interviews that I am over dressed which makes me wonder why would they say that to someone Interviewing and wanting to give a good first impression

I have my stack as a Java developer with Springboot profile for 3 YoE. I had recently joined a company and faked my resume to look like a data analytics one. My hiring manager said it looks good for Python and SQL+ETL but he wants me to do python scripting questions in the client interview which I am not much aware of. So need your help guys on how and what to prepare for client interview side.

I have my dream job interview. I have 6 days practicing for the interview, and I have written possible questions, regular questions and very crazy questions. Despite all that, I don't feel prepared, and my stress is brutal. Any advice?

Fell into a deep depressive suicidal hole and missed work for two days. Honestly surprised I woke up the second missed day, took a bunch of pills. Now need to face family and work. Don’t know what to do next.
What do I even say to my manager? Do I just show up and not say anything? How will this hurt my career?
My family I know it would hurt but I can be honest there at least. Plan to speak to family once I can come to terms with being alive.

LTI -Appeared for LTI L1 round on 9th july. The panel even clearly told he is recommending my name for Next round. What is the process they follow and generally how much time HR take to keep L2 ? I tried calling hr n dropped a mail too but no response.

So I’m planning on leaving my position before school starts, but the application and interview process has been slow. At this point I’m afraid I won’t find a job until late July. Should I let my school now and let them post my job as an anticipated position? I’d hate for them to have to find someone last minute, but I also want to keep that school as a fall back just in case. Unfortunately, it’s a terrible position and there has not been a lot of interest in it in the past.

After 3 months of applying I some how got an interview with a well known growing tech start up! Interviewed and got an offer this week. Unfortunately the offer is lower than my current comp with 1 yoe but it gets me out of tech consulting/compliance and into a pretty interesting product facing role! A bit sad about a lower comp but also pretty pumped about pivoting career paths so early and getting to work in product! Hope this “success” helps motivate some of y’all who might feel down!

Any suggestions for interview questions to ask a first-time manager? I’m applying for a potential role, and the Hiring Manager (potential boss who I would report to) has never had any direct reports. I’m not sure what to ask them to find out if they would be a micromanager or a bad boss. The questions that I’ve seen online all start with “Tell me about a time when …” but there are no such times!

I am interviewing at another company for a HR Generalist Contract position at Adobe and when they asked me what my pay expectations are, I asked them what their pay range and expectations were for this role. She let me know she was unable to tell me, yet still wanted me to give an answer. Do you believe that’s fair? How should I bring up pay expectations in my next round of interviews to ensure I am aware of what this position is offering so I don’t lowball or overshoot myself?
