My client (government) says WFH indefinitely. I’m sure they will reconsider at some point but my SM says Summer 2021 at absolute earliest. And even then Deloitte might not let us/force us to go in.
That's what my estimate is as well, summer 2021...pretty wild to think at the beginning we said two weeks, then June 2020, then September 2020, and now we're saying summer 2021. I wouldn't be surprised if some companies make you get vaccinated before getting in.

January 2021, at least
This totally depends on the nature of work being performed on the contract. Obviously those on classified contracts can’t “work from home” until next summer, and many of them have already been recalled months ago, as D1 mentioned.
One related point that is quite relevant and not oft-discussed is the impact the CARES Act expiration on Sept 30 will have on federal contractors, specifically those programs that can’t do WFH.
They’re very careful about communicating dates to us. We haven’t received any official dates or even a phasing schedule. Senior Managers and above seem to believe nothing will happen until the vaccine is developed and widely available
Although personally I’ve been into the office for project work that can’t be done at home

Depends on the client. I’ve been back in since about June.
They said no chance of starting our phased approach before January.
Which means at the very earliest March 2021
KPMG offices are closed through calendar year at a minimum.
Booz Allen won't reopen offices until at least January.
