Maybe! But remote workers are often cheaper… so…
Same boat. And I bought a house. So I’m here to stay.
Still agencies doing remote … https://joinfishbowl.com/post_aroc9t3wtz

Yeah - I know pub, some mdc, and some omni that are all still fully open to remote. Crazy that agencies would close that door when it opens them to more talent. But I wouldn’t put it passed them
In the same boat here, I stress about it every day lol.
Similar boat. Lots of anxiety over it. But one thing that puts me at ease is thinking beyond the possible economic downturn. The labor market will strengthen again, and companies may be forced to offer remote. They would be short sighted to abandon it all together.
Same boat here. On the assumption it’s also somewhere with a lower cost of living, I’ve tried (easier said than done) to look at my budgets and try to avoid ‘lifestyle creep’ now that I feel like I have more disposable income. Try to build the rainy day fund a little - it’s helped my anxiety a little.
Well… duh. What did you expect?
That there would be more remote options? But it looks like freelance is more remote friendly, so I guess that’s always an option if the day comes when I need it.
