When interviewers ask what you like to do on the weekends, is it ok to say none of you damn business? I always hated this question.

Yes! Go get some bro!

It's just a way of asking what are your hobbies, what do you do outside of work. Coworkers ask these types of questions to each other all the time.

You can make it up if you want, it doesn't really matter.

Which can also be used to measure team fit.

Just say volunteer work for underprivileged kids with AIDS and going to nursing homes to massage the seniors and call it done

I thought the widely held perception was something along the lines of "cull the herd"?

Reply “‘not what, but who”. Then say nothing.

So..what do you do on weekends?

What are you so pressed about?

Sure say it, but you won’t get the job lmao

What DO you do on weekends OP💃🏻

Agree BCG1 - this is just a pressure test. Put you on the spot with an unexpected question and just see how you react/watch you squirm

You go hiking, cook your favorite dishes, read books and hang with friends

Arent you able to engage with tour client and talk during a coffee about hobbies? you are probably not suitable for this job

I think interviewers ask these types of questions just to see how you react. If you’re relaxed and comfortable you will just answer normally - if you overthink it (like it sounds like you’re doing) you will tense up and sound/look awkward

I took level 1 and passed many years ago. Now I wanted to resume the program by first reviewing the recent L1 materials. I know it would take time etc. All I wanted to ask is: who has a set of L1 official (not prep course) books I could borrow or buy? It would ideally be new / unused from 2022. Thanks.

I have to travel to my client every week and the client’s office is attached to a very nice hotel that’s $250 per night. There’s a hotel right across the street that’s $150 per night.. it’s alright, but not as great. Should I be mindful about how much I’m spending or should I blow up the budget until someone says something?
