When interviewing how explicit/vague do you need to be in explaining work you've done with, or tangential to, the company you're interviewing with?

How are you in S& and not know this? Use general terms, global metal manufacturer looking to make a potential acquisition or whatever.

like

For example, if you've worked with their main supplier, or that company was a potential acquisition target for a different client, how do you talk about this (very) relevant experience without sacrificing the sacred client confidentiality oath we consultants took.

Because being at S&, OP doesn't go around floating his resume and interviewing every week.

I'm considering pivoting to copywriting because that's the part of my role I'm best at -- a lot of the account management stuff is draining, but I can whip out social and marketing copy quickly & I enjoy it. Wondering if anyone has insight / leads on making the jump from accounts to the copy side when applying for jobs? 5 YOE, 3 in-agency with a mix of automotive and pharma + a side gig as a published author with muliple books (hoping that'll help on the creative / copy end?) Thank you!

Hi Everyone. I am in Supply Chain and had a final interview with KPMG on 8/3 for a senior associate supply chain. I had 6 rounds of interviews including with HR (The recruiters). It's been two weeks and I have not heard anything back. I followed up twice with the recruiter to ask about timelines and she has not responded at all. Does anyone know how long it takes KPMG to get back to you? Especially in Supply Chain Advisory?

Hello everyone,

I have an upcoming case study with one of the big 4 for a M&A generalist position at manager level.

Does anyone have any guidance based on:

"Nothing particular to prep, we will share an information memorandum with you and you and you will be given a number of questions.

We will ask you to read that for an hour in your own time and then present answers to the questions for 30 minutes to myself and another director. The questions will be a mix of qualitative and quantitative."

Hi! I have 9 years of experience in procurement from manufacturing to banking industry having held roles such as commodity manager, regional commodity manager, and currently a senior procurement analyst. I’ve had a few interviews but feel like I’ve been rejected because I haven’t held people leader roles before. I think recruiters think that the ‘manager’ in my previous titles refers to managing people as

The suspense is KILLING ME! Currently waiting to hear back if I get a job offer or not. It’s dragged out 3 days since wage negotiation. One minute they act like I got the job the next I feel unsure. They told me it could come down to whoever asked for the least amount of money… I stayed within the range they gave. I have a lot of experience and meet all of the qualifications and then some so I asked for the mid-high range. Hopefully it wasn’t too high! Just needed to vent…

I made an error a few weeks ago with some client data and the client ended up pointing it out to me. I got a pretty serious talk from the project partner about attention to detail. Fixed (I thought) the issue and moved on. That phase of the project is now over. I just realized today that I didn’t actually make a complete fix, and that there are still some errors.

Since that phase of the project is over, should I bring it up? It’s honestly a mistake I could easily hide. Wondering what to do.
