When is a best time to reach out to recruiters? Right before want to switch? 3 months earlier? Or even 6 months?

Yesterday, depends on the level but finding a new job can take 6 month to a year and 6 months. In my past searches it took 8 months, 14 months and I’m at about 14 months looking currently. Plus it never hurts to keep your options open.

Experiencing significantly more back pain since the last month. The work setup hasn’t changed. It’s a generic desk, footrest and ergonomic chair. Suggestions welcome on what I can add to my setup to make it more comfortable. I do take breaks and stretch once in two hours.

“Why do you want to work here?” How do you answer this question early in the interview process? I get it often in the first round and what I really think is - “I don’t know yet, that’s why we’re talking! It’s a two way street.” But that obviously isn’t a good answer….
