Just finished exams. Haven’t liked job for at least a year. Can’t tell if the exam played a key role. Anyone experience better worklife post exam? Not sure I can do another busy season.

Hey all, 3rd party recruiter reached out to me about a job. We had interview which I think went well. I did not give my salary expectations, but the recruiter provided the hiring budget.

After sending resume, I am now being asked my current income. Seems expectation is ~20-25% comp increase when you change companies. Effectively it would be a promotion, but the budget would be significantly more than 25%.

I’ve been a club performing rep for years at a SaaS company…but as an enterprise account exec… my average deal size is around $75k in annual recurring, quota of $1M. This is inline for my company but low when I speak with others for Enterprise rep openings. Any thoughts on recommendations for steps to bridge that gap?

For background, my company hired me and 6 other sales people back in August 2021, I’ve had 3 different VP of Sales since then, have literally 2 customers on our product in my vertical. Marketing and product are horrible, the CMO is the CEO’s daughter and she’s only ever worked for my company.

Looking for insights from any seller at any of the hold co’s. I have an opportunity to join a new team at a hold co but I’m not sure if it will be a great move to make. I’m doing very well where I am, book of biz is thriving, but the allure of working at a larger company than my small company seems like a great resume builder. Have a data/analytics b/g., but I’m much more social than a “typical” data/analytics person.
