When is the best time to tell your team/office that you’re resigning? Should I wait till I get an offer or tell them now since I’m already interviewing?

Hi is it good to say that I already have an offer letter of one company(X) to another company(Y) to get better offer, I just got scolded by HR for this. also I lost the opportunity in Y. HR scolded me regarding trust issues, time taken to interview a candidate, you will go and come back again to negotiate and what not, all I wanted to was just to improve my current offer. Is it ethically wrong, or we should never share what offer we have to anyone. I feel sad that I just lost an opportunity

When I started interviewing for roles after my masters, I got approached by this clinical trials company "startup" they claimed to have these lofty projects in the pipeline. After several rounds of interviewing I found out there was no pay for the position they interviewed me for.. And the pay would be based on the deals I get them from sponsors. I thought it was such a 🚩 but they made it sound like a completely normal situation 🚩 Have you experienced anything like this?

Just got turned down by Amazon after two extensive writing assignments, 6 interviews and hours spent preparing. And their policy doesn’t allow them to give feedback when an offer is not made. Talk about a bruised ego. The only silver lining is staying long enough to collect the October and January big law bonuses and then I’m out! The question is where else pays like Amazon?!

Am I wrong in thinking that failing to follow up with a candidate after the initial phone screen (not the interview) is not a deadly sin? We talk to 30-40 people every week, and as much as we try, some people (especially the ones who show negative attitudes) do not hear back from us.
