When is the best time to update your LinkedIn profile with a new job. When you accept the offer or when you officially start?

Does anyone know why so many Cuyahoga County Common Pleas judges require so much extra stuff with motions for default judgment? Some require an affidavit about service when it's right on the docket. Others require a letter sent with a notice of the hearing, when the clerk clearly does that. I have practiced in multiple other counties small and large and none of them have these.
