I am getting a Analyst designation at delloite for a 1.7 years experience of it experience.
Should I try to get the consultant designation as the salary range will also open a bit as they r giving me 9.5. Should I just wait a few more months to get 2 years experience and apply the consultant position.

Of course. Why? You can a first hand understanding of the vision. And then you can create what you envision their vision to be. You’re the Lead! LEAD with confidence. And when other folks join the team, they can enhance on your LEAD. I hope that this makes sense

No…sorry, if it is a C-Level, it will be called that, Heads, Leads, etc are not the same thing. My advice is to keep charging and create a world where they can’t live without you, be careful to make sure they believe that too and not what you feel. Then make your ask, might be safe to have another plan if it doesn’t turn out the way you want…I have seen/participated in several Heads or Leads of Product, try to claim Chief and get shown the door/managed out because they weren’t as crucial as they thought

C level literally needs C in the title.
