Joined nagarro yesterday. Updated skills and then suddenly i got a project match by email. Its saying one tech, but the manager or point contact is saying there requirement is in another tech stack. How to find the truth in this case? Do these managers simply reject developers without reason? Will it affect my carreer in nagarro? Is there any way to watch out the matches i have in TAP Nagarro

for Amazon SDE roles and code assessment. How much do they really do what's in the assessment? I am doing a code assessment this weekend and I am a developer but I don't really do much of complex data structure stuff or map graph stuff I have seen. Is that what Amazon developers do day to day? Just say you are going to take over your grandfather’s farm in Alabama and it was always your dream.
That’s the stupid move though if you are in tech implementation, ACN>AnyBig4
And why??
Nope.... none of their business. They’ll find out on LinkedIn like mine did
Deloitte to Accenture
You don’t have to disclose where you are going
Have several options and haven’t decided. That’s what you say
One of the SM I know left the firm but never disclosed and his LinkedIn isn’t updated as well. To these days we don’t know where he went but from what we have heard he is doing well. So to answer your question you just said I have a better opportunity and leave it at that. If they push too much just I don’t want to disclose. But when I left I told couple of my friends, other people still wonder and I haven’t updated my LinkedIn either.
Tell them if they ask don’t offer if they don’t. Is there a compelling reason for the move? Money ? Level? Culture? Or are you just ready for a change. If so You can De-personalize it by saying you just wanted to have different experiences in your early career.
Not talking about it doesn’t protect you from violations of your noncompete. In my experience, transparency reduces the scope of the noncompete so both you and your former employer feel like it is fair
I would say I have couple of offers & still evaluating...
There are no secrets in industry.
So, how did it go?
Where are you going?
Just tell them different firm or Accenture. Reason being is that they offered you SM and significant pay raise which was not matched your current firm or whatever
And why is answering those questions harder than actually leaving?
Leaving ACN to D. it will just be a shock to my team. Gonna miss those guys! Engagement leadership not so much... I’ll go with the “haven’t decided from my options “ spill
U don’t have to tell your team where, just tell them you will once u leave. I had one close manager went to KPMG, he didn’t tell me where until my his last day. He called few days later, said he was with KPMG and he wanted me join his team. Dude was trying to earn referral bonus already but I enjoying my time here at acn.
You may need to disclose. Look at your employment contract.
I'm about to give notice too for a competitor. Should I be worried about my non compete?
New firm is asking that I get a waiver. Doesn't that raise more flags?
You have no obligation to tell your old employer where you are going to. None of their business. If you are senior enough, just beware of any non-competes. It still doesn’t require discloser.
