Does anyone at Rutgers know where I can find a flexible part-time job for students on campus? I only found two campus positions on handshake and haven’t heard back from either yet. I feel like there has to be a lot more out there than what I’ve seen on handshake
Something similar to the digital classroom support specialist or tech help desk would be great. I consider myself tech savvy

Hi Folks, We are in the process of getting the Canada PR and hopefully we would be getting the PR in the end of October. My wife is the primary applicant and she is already in discussion for an offer with a semiconductor company in Ottawa.
I am planning to start my job search in canada and preferably get an offer even before moving to Canada . I am from a Data science / Machine Learning background and previously worked in Software engineering role as well with 9 YOE.
How to start my job search ?

Talk to future colleagues at your level and ask them if they’re happy and if they enjoy it. Watch their facial expressions!
Also ask if there is anything they think you should know. People might open up (even a little bit) about potential negatives in the culture.
Depends on what’s important to you, but typically questions to ask are about advancement, associate development, mentoring, business development opportunities and training, pro bono opportunities. Also as Attorney 1 mentioned, find out about the culture indirectly, as asking straight up might be weird. Good luck!
