I was halfway through chemo when lockdown life began. Not allowed out of the house except to go to infusion. Cancer was stressful enough already.

I’ve honestly never been yelled at by a boss in 10+ years in the corporate world, so was shocked to hear it happened fairly frequently in the past by some colleagues. I’m kinda worried about this whole Russia/Ukraine situation. Russia has about 120,000 troops near their border now and various outlets are quoting intelligence officials saying they expect an invasion in early 2022. Ukraine has a large military but not as technically advanced as Russia. Would not be a good situation. Anyone else following this?

I sobbed Monday night when I realized there’s no way out of the financial rat race without compromising all aspects of health. Working hard isn’t enough. Shortcuts do not exist (no matter WHAT anyone tells you). Our companies will replace us in a month if we leave / die unexpectedly. And working 40+ hrs a week means spending a majority of walking hrs w/ coworkers. I keep deleting / rewriting this wanting it to be wrong but maybe I’ve been hiding from this truth all along.
