I do all the above frequently for reach outs and have had the best hit rate with option 2

2. Makes the most sense, I think 1. and 4. Is a little too intrusive, particularly as you said they aren't open to messages. With 2. You are giving them some control over the interaction.

I do 2 but then 4 if there’s no reply because there’s a decent chance someone established in their career is not checking LinkedIn anymore (imo)

What is the salary for a tax director in NYC at mid size public accounting firm? A recruiter is asking what my number is but I’m not sure what to say- I don’t want to low ball myself.

I just accepted an offer at another big4 and I feel so blessed to be making $130k in LOCL as a 23 year old with less than 1.25 YOE. And I find it funny that I'm gonna be "senior" consultant/associate at my age and YOE. I don't know jack shit, and will completely understand if my clients/senior peers don't give me any respect at all.
