Initial recruiter said comp range was 125-140. Just spoke to hiring manager and they said the salary is at 110 plus equity. He asked if that was a deal breaker and I said I would like higher salary but I’m sure we can work something out. How do I go about negotiation?

As a manager, have worked 2400 hours to date since July 2019 (taking 48 hours of vacation). Finding it very hard to justify working this much for the amount im getting paid. Not considering COVID-19.

Have a first HR round coming up with AWS for principal architect in Toronto. Its scheduled for 10mins. Last I interviewed with AWS was in 2019 and HR started with 10 technical questions (OSI layer, DB, SQL VS NoSQL) plus a behavioral STAR response question. Are AWS recruiters still doing that? Any one has recent experience?
