@Deloitte if you're not a US citizen/green card holder you aren't eligible to get Pre through the government; have to wait until you hit status for that sometimes perk

@deloitte that's exactly right... They were giving pre to 'low risk' travelers who signed up through FF programs but tsa ended that nonsense recently http://www.travelandleisure.com/articles/tsa-precheck-update

I think it's because high airline status (e.g. Premier 1K) can sometimes give passengers Pre. So they get to go through the line but they don't really know the benefits.
