When people talk about leaving once they get promoted to Senior, do they mean right away or after actually having worked for a bit as a Senior?

Most people in my class plan to leave after this busy season, including me. But also a few already left in Nov

like

I’d say there are a decent number of people getting senior experience before the title

Deloitte tax I know doesn’t pay a bonus until you’ve completely a first year as a senior??

like

Usually people do their 1st busy season as a senior because that sounds better, but promo to manager they leave after getting the title.

I would assume they will work a little while as a senior, but I’ve seen people leave right away .

they typically do a busy season as senior

If you plan on leaving just leave when you find a good opportunity. No point in staying a day longer. Most companies look for someone within an experience range ( 2-5 years), so you’ll likely get the same job regardless of exactly when you leave.

Hi, can anyone help me with the interview process of Thoughtworks. I already have an offer in hand but i would be more interested in Thoughtworks but I hardly have 20 days to join the other company. Have virtual interviews tomorrow and Friday (both with same company) - I know 150% if I got an offer, I would not accept. Had a ton of coaching meetings this week regarding a different offer I’ve been considering and I don’t want to leave my current place of work. Cancel tomorrow and Friday interviews or no cancel and potentially get an offer and decline? Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?
