As a buyer, I would be less inclined to put an offer in if the appliances are not included. However, I'm looking for move in ready and having all major appliances in good condition is on my list of must haves
Appliances (excluding washers and dryers) are typically the standard. For washers and dryer’s, if they’re built in, they tend to stay. Most of those will be called out though on the MLS listing if there’s an exception here.
I wouldn’t consider a house without those. 1) supply chain crunch means 2-8+ week delivery lead time right now based on friends experiences 2) would make me think the owner skimped on maintenance because they’re super cheap
The only appliances included are stove top, dish washer, microwave (if it is mounted) and oven range if it is built in. Basically anything that is built in and “attached” to the cabinetry.
I just sold and didn’t leave those for the new owners. I think this makes sense especially in this market.
