I have a rather odd confession

I am going through therapy In my recent therapy session, my therapist started crying while I was talking ( I was not crying at the time)

Is this normal?

Am I the only one that runs into this? Halfway into an interview it’s apparent you know the role better than the hiring manager does. As soon as this happens I always feel like I am wasting my time because I know they’re likely going to look for a less experienced candidate. Unfortunately I don’t have the years of experience for senior manager/director roles so it seems I run into this very often for manager level roles.

I applied too much icy hot ALL OVER MY LEGS and now they are on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😭😭.

Since leaving the federal govt & joining consulting last year, I’ve already learned new skills + met some great people. I’ve also seen a few who are competitive to the point of toxicity. Just like the feds who’ve perfected laziness & stagnation...I feel sorry for them both. With the feds, they may not realize it, but they are rotting in place. For the hyper competitive consultants, nothing will ever be enough. For both, by the time they realize their error, it will be way too late.
