When speaking to a company's HR/recruiter (not headhunter), what questions do you generally ask and how do you steer the conversation to make sure you get that first interview? Any tips

Would you say the truth in exit interviews?

Say you were unappreciated and disrespected in several instances, but was not heard/taken seriously - hence your reason for leaving.

Cold applying to job postings hasn’t been working. Curious about the process to seek a referral? Would it be with a specific position in mind? Is it appropriate to reach out multiple times to the same person for multiple roles or wait for the best fit before asking?

When do I reach out again? Had a screen with recruiter last Wednesday. Next day had an interview with hiring manager over the phone. It’s been a week. Sent thank you note to hiring manager. Anxious :/

When you don’t hear back from a place you interviewed at 3 weeks ago do you move on or curse them under your breath? (After you’ve already thanked them a few days after the interview happened)

Just started with KPMG and really liking it. PML is great and the practice is small and growing. TC is 127,000 as an SA in DAS. I keeping looking at the numbers for SA’s at Strategy& or EYP and seeing 150-170. Am I wrong to try and interview?

I work for a small boutique firm and been seeing that there are some unethical practices and not much business in the pipeline. Should I mention this as both or one of the two reasons for leaving in my interviews? Id turned down a few recruiters a couple months ago saying I’m not looking to move so out but want to reach out to them now.

How do you ask about work life balance while you’re interviewing? I’m always afraid of giving the impression i don’t want to work a lot (which is true), but I don’t want it to disqualify me.

I had some final interviews this week that I thought went really well, but I haven't heard back yet. It's been 3 days and I was hoping to hear SOMETHING before the weekend. Things have been moving quick up to this point. Thoughts?
