I am on two separate jobs and I had a quarter filing last week so I was very clear with my other job that I have limited availability. We filed late Thursday night and my manager on my other team immediately jumped on me telling me that I need to pick up the slack on this other job. It’s like you can’t even breathe during busy season. I am doing the best I can do but constantly being stretched thin makes me just want to walk out during busy season.

Is Infosys sending any kind of gifts to the employees during pandemic as part of good work appreciation? I have probably received 3-4 gifts since last year from Accenture. Just curious about infosys. When I worked in infosys earlier I didn't get any single gift from them. I really liked Accenture much more than infy in various factors. It might be just my perception anyway.

Has anybody done a total career change from being a designer/art director to becoming a teacher? I’m 15+ years into design and I am hating being in front of a computer all day- I also would like to have a job that is rewarding in some way. Advertising just isn’t it for me. I don’t think I can do 30 more years of this… might be time for a change while I’m still young.

I live in a residential neighborhood near a university and I oftentimes run the track that surrounds the school. A few weeks ago, I ran into 2 men who were easily in their late 80s (maybe early 90s) and they seemed lost, so I stopped to help. It turns out, they weren’t lost, they were just planning their route because they walk 4 miles together every day. They were both professors at the school and now old friends. Something to aspire to - fitness and friendship - when I’m that age!
