Hi fishes, in urgent need of your suggestions.
One of my friend is having offer from Oracle Pune for software developer role in Oracle store team. but he does not have clear idea of the role whether it will be operations, support or development work.
Does anyone know what kind of work is there in store team. Also, is it possible to change the project once we get inside?
Urgent suggestions required...
Thanks!

I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

When you put the throw away idea in the deck
Why would you show a “throw away” idea?
You all act like @OP had total control over what was shown to the client. There are planners, account directors, and C-suite staff that reviewed all this stuff and if two of those people want it included, you either fold and live to fight another day or you die on that hill. Sometimes it isn’t worth the fight.
👆🏻 This. Don’t show the straw dog idea. Dumbest Creative 101 move there is.
As an ECD, you should know this. Client will always buy the safe idea, if you don’t love it, don’t show it. 🤦🏻♂️
Two great ideas is always enough. No one wants to see “all of our thinking” !!!
Don’t show ideas you don’t want them to buy. Ever Problem solved.
Clients should only be able to pick the strategy. Not the actual ads. They are not equipped to make that type of decision.
Good luck with that
I always fight to kill any ideas that we don't believe in, C-Suite or not
I don’t doubt that, but I’ve seen OUTSTANDING creative directors lose that fight many times. So, dragging one of our fellows for it isn’t really a cute look for anybody.
Never show the client anything you wouldn’t want to make. Problem solved.
Never present an option you don’t want to produce.
Yeah, this post is very perplexing.
It’s your own damn fault. Stop playing the long game
