What’s your funniest client experience? I’ll start. I once overheated my soup, spilt it on my hand so I had to drop the pot on the floor. Soup exploded all over the client kitchen (there are apparently still marks on the ceiling). Client had to take me to A&E to get my hand treated and wrapped in a boxing glove. Meant I couldn’t wash my hair, so my client colleague washed it for me. Ended up being a great client bonding experience after only a few weeks on the project!

Joined a new consulting firm after 25 years in the business in Feb ‘22. Realized once onboard that Ive joined a messed up company/practice & project team. My new position/role was completely misrepresented. My “onboarding buddy” started sending borderline inappropriate texts immediately once I joined. at freelancers - have you ever not gotten paid for hours works and invoiced? Example - you bill hourly, estimate 100 hours for the project, told them ahead of time that you are going over and bill for 105 hours, but they only pay for the 100. What can you do?
